Jackson has had several doctor's appointments this past month. He had a checkup with Dr. Cope the first week of June that showed that he has gained less than a pound in the past three months. No shock there! He is just a little tiny boy! I have no doubt that he will catch up later, just like Rivers has. Rivers hit a growth spurt in the winter and grew 6 inches in 6 months! Jackson also saw Dr. Cheeseman for a vision check. He wants to go ahead and do his eyelid surgery this year rather than waiting until closer to five years old. Jackson's eyelids are beginning to impair his vision, and he is compensating by tipping his chin back. Thus, we were scheduled to see Dr. Chen, a plastic surgeon, who will do the bulk of the surgery. We are really excited that they are wanting to move ahead with the eye surgery. I can't wait to see more of Jackson's eyes!
