Daniel turned 30 years old on Wednesday, July 22nd. We went over to the Crowson's for dinner where Mrs. Crowson had cooked an amazing meal to celebrate. Looking at Daniel with his parents, as I took the picture above, made me smile to think that this is a true celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Crowson: all of the anticipation of being pregnant, taking care of yourself to nourish the baby within you, delivering a sweet baby and giving them a birthday that they will celebrate every year to come. What a blessing it is that God creates families! Daniel is blessed to have a wonderful family, and I am blessed, along with my children, that he is the head of ours. Happy 30th birthday, Daniel!
I surprised Daniel with a small dinner in honor of his 30th birthday with a few close friends: the Wallaces, the Huggins, and the McCatherns. We had dinner at Bonefish Grill on Forest Drive and enjoyed the intimacy of catching up with friends sans children! We actually got to engage in entire conversations! It was a wonderful evening.
