My friends Regan and
Rebecca and I took Hodges, Eliza, and Rivers to the State House on Wednesday for a big brother/big sisters day out. The children had so much fun looking at the statues and finding where the cannonballs hit the State House while we were outside.
Once inside, our tour guide (Regan) took us up to see the House of Representatives and the Senate. They even let us take a few pictures "behind the velvet rope" because of Regan's previous service there as a
page. It helps to know people in high places! After our tour, we took the kids out to lunch at
Groucho's. It was a great morning to really get to spend focused time with the older siblings!
