March 24, 2012...I took Rivers to get her ears pierced this past Saturday. It has been months in the making since Rivers knew that she could get her ears pierced any time after her 6th birthday. At first, she adamently said that she did not want her ears pierced. Then, at six-and-a-half, she changed her mind. Two sweet little pearls later, here she is! She was very brave, and Connilee at Jewelry Warehouse was so patient and kind to her. They really made it special!
Jackson was there with us too, holding Rivers hand. They both spent time admiring Rivers' new earrings when we got home. Sweet times!
