Great Aunts

Daniel's Aunt Melissa and Aunt Shelley came from Alabama to meet the new babies (Katherine, cousin Elizabeth in the middle, and Emily) in mid-April. It was such a treat to spend time with them and to introduce them to the twins! Of course, Mrs. Crowson loved sharing her 5 grandchildren with her sisters! What a special time together!

Big Brother

Jackson is such a loving brother to Emily and Katherine. Since he only goes to preschool on Thursday mornings, he is home with the girls and me every day. He plays around and entertains himself really well when I'm tied up with the girls, or he'll come sit by me to watch television or read a book. He is so attentive to them and gets very concerned when they cry. He gladly places a paci to soothe them or wipes away spit up with a burp cloth. Sweet boy!

Storybook Parade Day

This year, Rivers dressed as Fancy Nancy for Storybook Parade Day. She enjoyed parading through the sanctuary of Lexington Baptist Church Preschool with her friends and showing off her "costume."

Jackson sat with his class for the parade. Mrs. Kim has a Big Bad Wolf #2 hat on (Mrs. Renee was #1) and the children had the three little pigs on their hats. They always make such creative things!

As we left that morning, Rivers and Jackson wanted to get a picture on the stairs with the girls who slept the whole time.
