The girls are just getting to where we can lay them on their play mat without them spitting up everywhere. As you can see, one way that we can tell them apart is that they use different pacifiers. I bought the clear kind after they came home because it was a package with one clear and the other pink. I thought Katherine could use the clear and Emily could use the pink. Emily would have none of that! She prefers her hospital grade "Soothie" to a more stylish version. Katherine, I found out inadvertently the other day, can use either pacifier and be happy. I found this out when Jackson was being a helper for me and mistakenly put Emily's pacifier in Katherine's mouth. When I finished cleaning up the kitchen, I discovered Katherine sucking contentedly on Emily's paci! I'm sure that this is the first of many "shared" things to come!
